Lilydale Baptist Church has four Elders.\u00a0 The Elders bring a wealth of experience and gifts to serve the church.\u00a0 Elders have the opportunity to oversee the spiritual health of the church, ministering as the Spirit of God leads them.\u00a0 The influence of Elders is over the whole church.<\/p>\n
The Elders have permission to speak into the life of the Pastor, in particular in the area of preaching and teaching.<\/p>\n
The Elders have taken on the responsibility of the prayer ministry of the church by being available for prayer on request or as the need arises, participating in pastoral prayer, prayer emails and emergency phone prayer chains.\u00a0 The Elders are involved in calling the church to corporate prayer as occasions arise.<\/p>\n
Ours Elder are Graeme & Dawn Taylor, Lillian Taylor and Geoff Glidden.<\/p>\n
