Lead Pastor

Tony, along with his wife Lynne, returned to the LBC Church family at the beginning of 2022, then took up a Pastoral role in March 2023. Tony previously worked in a number of Engineering and Human Resources roles before undertaking studies for a BMin from 1994 to 1996 at the Bible College of Victoria. He then undertook further studies at Whitley Theological College and was ordained in 2005.

Further to studies, Tony, along with his family, served as senior pastor in 3 Baptist Church for 25 years, both regional and urban. Tony is passionate about seeing people grow in their faith and loves the Sunday worship event being a preacher, muso and song leader.

Tony and Lynne have been married for 46 years and have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren.  Tony enjoys undertaking small building projects, gardening, reading, watching a variety of sport and is currently playing competitive table tennis.

Peter has been married to his wife Nola for 46 years,  they have four grown-up children and four much loved grandchildren.   He has pastored in both Baptist and Churches of Christ for some 30 years and was previously employed as a Primary school Teacher, then a Special Education Teacher. He has also spent 8 years working with the Salvo’s in housing outreach, working with people in  Melbourne experiencing homelessness. Peter is passionate about encouraging people to grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus. He also loves working with marginalized people encouraging an ‘alongsiders’ approach. His main weakness is his devotion to his favorite AFL team Collingwood
